The gang

Ademaro shifted his weight in the saddle. Slightly and quietly. They had been following the two stallions for some time now. And as they were heading to the big lake right now, he felt like this was his chance. The older blue one was bulky and proud. The yearling seemed very shy and unsure. Most likely his mother had abandoned him for a new foal. These two obviously had teamed up in some kind of mini-bachelorherd. Schilf seemed very fond of them. They had already seen some other kelpies that were up for the hunt, but these two had caught him.
Ademaro waited till they had gone towards the middle of the lake. He and Schilf were hiding behind a waterfall. And then he pressed his heels in the belly of his young stallion. With a big jump the green Kelpie heaved himself into the water and right towards the others. Ademaro had the lasso in his hand. Only a few steps closer, and he could cath them. His eyes had focused on the older one. The yearling would surely stay with him.

Yeaaah, some action again for Ademaro^^ This year it was his turn to catch one ne Kelpie for PS. It was meant to be a stallion, to keep Schilf some company. And in combination with that yearling, these were going to be a nice bachelorherd, to guard the girl and the lake.
