Child of love

Aithnes mane had grown longer, no reaching down to her chest. Her tail was even longer, she was hauling it after herself, if it wasn't braided. With a deep sigh she stopped. The soft breeze at the huge lake was a great relief. She felt a soft push in her side. Smiling she glaced over to her belly. The movement in it was clearly visible. She shifted her shoulder. The enourmous size and weight of her belly was making every move harder and harder each day. But soon. Soon it would be time. She was so excited about this special foal. Had had already given birth to a few foals. But it had taken her a few years to finally find the perfect mate for her child of love. Even though he was still young, and often silly... She sniffed the sand, looking for a place to bath, when suddenly a deep red flower appeared infront of her eyes. She looked up, into a pair of joyful, green eyes. The curly forelock hanging between them had a few small leaves in it.
"It was hidden in a bush..." he grinned, following her glace.
She rubbed her head against his neck and smiled.
"Thank you, my fearless hero", she smiled and went on, looking for a place to bath.
With a huff and grin he placed his head over her back. For a moment she closed her eyes. And again, she felt a soft movement. Soon...
